It’s a sodium-only hydration add-in — no flavor, no sugar, no calories. Designed for salty sweaters, hot days, and long, hard efforts where you need more sodium than what’s in our other hydration mixes. It gives you full control without changing your drink’s taste or carb load.

Electrolytes are minerals—like sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium—that help your body hold onto fluid, maintain proper muscle function, and keep your nervous system firing. When you sweat, you lose more than just water—you also lose electrolytes, especially sodium. If you don’t replace both, your performance can suffer. Replacing them helps you stay hydrated and perform better, longer.

If you’re a heavy or salty sweater (think white streaks on your face or jersey), or training/racing in heat or for long periods, you may need more sodium than you’re getting. Our Electrolyte Booster lets you add more sodium to your drink without changing your flavor, sweetness, or gut tolerance.

If you don’t know your sweat rate but want to see if you’re a salty sweater, start by paying attention to visible salt marks, post-workout salt cravings, or feeling dehydrated even when you drink plenty. You can also try the weigh-yourself trick: weigh before and after a workout. If you’re drinking to thirst and still losing more than 2–3% of your body weight, your drink likely isn’t salty enough to trigger enough thirst. In that case, adding Booster in half-scoop increments and tracking how you feel can help you dial in your sweet spot.

Booster was made to mix — not to be taken on its own. Always dissolve it in water or another drink. It blends seamlessly with our Sport Drink Mix (for more sodium without extra sugar), Unsweetened (for a low-flavor, high-performance base), or Super High-Carb (for when you need serious fuel and more sodium). You can also add it to plain water or other low-sodium drinks. Just avoid mixing it with drinks that are already high in sodium, and know that in strongly acidic liquids (like juice), flavor might shift slightly. If you add too much and don’t dilute enough... yeah, you might taste it.

Used as directed, it blends in seamlessly — no salty taste, especially in water or Skratch mixes. In more acidic drinks (like juice), or if you overload a small bottle, you might notice a subtle shift. But even then, it's milder than most salty-tasting products or salt tabs.

Start with ½ to 1 scoop (200–400 mg sodium) in 12–16 fl oz of water or any drink. Adjust based on sweat rate, workout length, and weather. Most athletes max out around 2 scoops per bottle. For preloading or extreme conditions, up to 4 scoops is possible — but taste and tolerance vary.

Try weighing yourself before and after a workout. If you’re drinking to thirst and still losing more than 2–3% of body weight from fluid loss, try increasing sodium with Booster (in ½ scoop increments) to encourage more drinking and better hydration. The goal is to stay hydrated just by drinking to thirst — when that happens, you’ve found your sweet spot.

Booster is just electrolytes — so you can customize based on your needs. No carbs, no flavor, no sweetness means you can boost sodium without overdoing fuel or messing with your gut.

“I’ve been using the booster to rehydrate after hot, sweaty rides and to preload for the summer races. I love that it’s unflavored. Adding it as an extra punch to the Sport Drink Mix or Unsweetened Sport Drink Mix has been a hydration game changer. It’s been helping me get the most out of my workouts and kickstarting the post-ride recovery.”

Unleashing the Possibilities

Being an athlete who sweats more solids than liquids, the Electrolyte Booster has been a life saver! Wether it’s mixing in with the Sport or High-Carb Drink, or just boosting water, this allows me to pack in the 1800-1900mg’s of sodium an hour I need to make it thru the workouts without the heavy table salt taste of similar others! The Electrolyte Booster is an instant staple in my crew bags and will be integral for all race nutrition here on out.
